New Day Family Success Center is a community-based, family-centered neighborhood gathering place where any community resident can go for family support, information, and services. The Family Success Center’s goal is to enrich the lives of children and adults by making families stronger and empowering them to succeed.
At the Family Success Center you can learn new skills, share your talents, participate in activities, lead workshops, and meet others in your community. The center offers a variety of FREE educational workshops and activities for all ages in Atlantic County.

Alisa Guenther- Program Supervisor
Alisa is the program supervisor for New Day Family Success Center. Her interests include school bullying prevention, advocating for the homeless and being a referral provider to residents of Atlantic County. Alisa is responsible for program planning, implementation and coordination of service activities. Alisa oversees all aspects of New Day FSC operations and has the responsibility of program evaluation and oversight.
Kirsten Souder - Volunteer Coordinator
Kirsten is a selfless, caring individual who always puts the needs of our community members first at New Day. Kirsten loves making new connections with our families and makes everyone feel right at home, making her an exceptional asset to our team. Graduating from Stockton University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Health Science, Kirsten has demonstrated a genuine interest in helping others through her work as a former Senior Benefits Administrator and her volunteer experience with Stockton University’s Service Learning department as an advocate for transportation services for disabled individuals. Kirsten has knowledge in sign language since she was 3 years old. This allows her to develop close relationships with our community members who are deaf and hard of hearing. Demonstrating an ability to work with people of different ages and backgrounds, Kirsten is an avid member of New Day, and enjoys making lasting memories for our community members.
Vesna Breedlove – Family Partner
Vesna is the Family Partner for New Day Family Success Center. She studied law in Europe and acquired great skills. She loves helping people and connecting with the community, so she acquired a Human Services degree at Atlantic Cape Community College to use her passion for helping others. Vesna believes that every person has strengths, and goes to great lengths to help people realize and use their strengths to overcome the hurdles of life. Creating special events is something she has learned while coordinating state funded program for five years. She puts her whole heart into making each event a special experience for the community members.
Angelica Ali – Family Partner
Angelica is the Family Partner for New Day Family Success Center. Angelica has a great experience working with children of all ages. She graduated from Rowan University with her Bachelor’s degree in Sociology. She also worked as an instructional assistant and a residential counselor. Angelica has a passion for helping people. Her organizational skills allow for the center to stay on track and to grow. As a resident of Atlantic County she wants to see the community become strong and supportive. She is also enthusiastic about fitness and has been involved with marathons for many years.
New Day Family Success Center is part of a state-wide network of Family Success Centers funded by the New Jersey Department of Children and Families through Atlantic County and operated by Center For Family Services. Community involvement and shared responsibility influence the development and implementation of programs and activities.
